Llandyrnog Shop

Village Shop, Post Office and Community Hub

Heart of the community since 1841

Llandyrnog Village Shop has been at the heart of the community for over a century. Opened by Samuel Fox in 1841, the Village Shop has been serving the public from its former premises next to the Golden Lion, and from its current premises since 1980.

In more recent years, Llandyrnog Shop has been more than just a convenience store; along with it’s Post Office, it has provided a central hub for the village. We intend to take this further, offering light refreshments and indoor seating, Llandyrnog Village Shop and Post Office can become the social space our village has been waiting for.

We are looking for kind donations to help the community buy back the Shop and Post Office, as well as setup new stock.

For now we need help raising awareness, but will hopefully soon be looking for volunteers to help run the Shop.

Finally, we cannot wait for the day the Village Shop gets to reopen. All we need then is for the everyone to pop by and help support us.
